Abstract

It is an optimization technique to locate new warehouses within by minimizing the cost and time during the product service network and should satisfy the needs and demand of the customers in supply chains. It also provide the efficient and effective methods of optimization in large distribution service network by using MATLAB software in which we allocate the problems of a service network with a graph representation of a selected warehouse locations are proved to provide competitive solutions to the given distributed problems with lesser transportation cost and time. In this article a model is based on real data by using GPS locations with its x, y coordinates for the location problems denoted algorithm of the problem by (R1, R2, R3…..R20) is presented. New Agents are allocated as regional warehouses denoted by the (R1, R2, R3….R10) and central warehouse of the cities with randomly located demand in particular selected area; optimization technique are applied to the distribution-service network of a selected area and the allocate the new optimized regional warehouse locations. Proposed model can be implemented to in case of manufacturing sector, food industry, pharmaceutical services network etc.
