Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of training and development practices and their influence on employee performance. The information technology industry requires continuous learning because of rapid technological change and evolving client requirements. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire administered to employees, while secondary data were obtained from company records, journals, books, and published reports. The study applies percentage analysis, correlation, regression, ANOVA, and multiple regression to evaluate the relationship between training practices and employee outcomes. The findings indicate that structured training improves technical competence, productivity, confidence, teamwork, and job satisfaction. Employees who regularly participate in technical and soft-skill training demonstrate better work performance than those with limited training opportunities. The study concludes that continuous learning initiatives contribute positively to organizational effectiveness and recommends strengthening digital learning platforms, periodic skill assessments, and role-specific training programs to sustain long-term employee development.
