Whereas solar and wind are intermittent and variable in nature, and when brought together in a hybrid renewable energy system, in return, they give a more steady and stable power supply. The present paper models and simulates a grid-connected solar-wind hybrid system in MATLAB/Simulink, focusing on controlled inverter operations for grid stability, voltage regulation, and power quality. In this study, the dynamic behaviours of photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, and power electronic converters are considered under varying environmental conditions. State-of-the-art control methods, such as Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and intelligent inverter control, will be used to maximise power extraction and conversion efficiency. Storage systems can also play a crucial role in reducing intermittency on this front to ensure that the power goes on continuously. This study intends to provide an all-inclusive setting within which hybrid renewable systems can be analysed, designed, and optimised for real-world grid-connected applications.</p> Brijesh Kumar Pandey Abhimanyu Kumar Rohit Gedam Ambrish Pati Tripathi Copyright (c) 2026 Journal of Advanced Research in Modeling and Simulation http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-01-27 2026-01-27 8 1 1 11
