This article examines the use of watermarking techniques in medical images to enhance their security and ease of management. The goal is to ensure the reliability, integrity, and secure sharing of health records. The paper explores cases where watermarking has been successfully applied in healthcare systems. Experts highlight the main concern of maintaining the accuracy of medical records, which is addressed through the use of watermarking. Watermarking medical images is an effective method for protecting critical health data and has been proven to be useful. It plays a key role in diagnosing diseases and referencing information within the healthcare system. The document discusses current methods of marking health images, with a focus on the Region of Non-Interest while ensuring the key area remains protected. Key terms include Medical Pictures, Region of Interest, Safety, and Assaults. As nanoscience and nanotechnology continue to advance, their application in medicine becomes more widespread. Nanotechnology-based medical imaging equipment provides clear and accurate images of the body’s organs, which is essential for identifying health issues. In today’s medical field and with the evolving computer technology, scientists are exploring what’s inside living organisms to detect illness early and develop science-based treatments. Medical images used in research often need to be shared or transmitted online for various purposes, such as remote care. Telemedicine uses phone and computer technology to provide healthcare services from a distance, particularly in areas where medical help is not readily available. This approach makes it easier for people living in remote rural areas to access health advice. Adding a watermark to medical images is especially important for verifying the accuracy of information. Telemedicine systems often use specific parts of images known as regions of interest and areas that are not important. The ROI is vital for doctors in making decisions about a patient’s health. In this writing, the author discusses the importance of watermarking medical images to ensure information remains secure.
